U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow Awards Contract For Protective Engineer Equipment Covers To Transhield

Transhield, Inc. was awarded a contract for more than 500 covers from the USMC Logistics Base Barstow for their Maintenance Branch.

Elkhart, IN (PRWEB) - Transhield, Inc. announced today that the company was awarded a contract for more than 500 covers from the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Logistics Base Barstow for their Maintenance Branch. Manufactured using Transhield’s patented advanced protective cover technology, they will be used to provide corrosion and environmental protection for a variety of engineer equipment including Caterpillar Graders, John Deere Crawlers, and Tactical Trailer mounted Generator/Environmental Control Units (GETT). It also includes purchases of covers for Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) vehicles, M1114 HMMWVs, 155mm lightweight howitzers. This order is the second from U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, which has been using Transhield covers to protect vehicle and equipment asset investments since 2008.
