Ultrasonic Proximity Sensor

Rockwell Automationund Ultrasonic Sensor is designed for clear object detection. The sensor uses a separate emitter and receiver to set up an undirectional sound beam that can be broken by clear opaque and translucent objects and materials such as glass and plastic bottles.

The sensor's factory sealed enclosure is rated for 1200 psi wash-down water ingress protection, enabling reliable operation in contaminated and wet environments. The design of the sensor also allows for the elimination of cover screws, which would otherwise need to be properly tightened to prevent water ingress.
