This company's 2000 Proximity Sensors catalogue lists their full lines of inductive proximity, capacitive proximity, magnetic proximity, and magnetic cylinder sensors
This company's 2000 Proximity Sensors catalogue lists their full lines of inductive proximity, capacitive proximity, magnetic proximity, and magnetic cylinder sensors.

The 175-page catalogue lists each sensor according to name and series, and provides features, connection diagrams, electrical and mechanical data, and selection tables for each. The catalogue also includes available accessories, as well as two indexes that list the sensors by type designation and order number, respectively.

The sensors are implemented in automated production process for a variety of control and regulation tasks. They offer a non-contact mode of operation, which means that no actuation forces are required and direct contact with the object is avoided. The sensors' completely electric design (no moving parts or contacts) functions without wear, according to the manufacturer, and the electronics are encapsulated to provide protection against vibration and shock, as well as dust, dirt, and humidity, making the sensors well suited for use in hostile environments.
