Traffix

Source: Traffix
In 1974 Traffix founded by L. Chuck Snow entered the for-hire trucking industry as an independent owner operator hauling freight between Ontario and the USA. It was during this period that Chuck realized the inefficiencies of the over regulated for-hire trucking industry of the day.

In 1979 Chuck formed Traffix with the vision of providing a unique load matching service in order to match empty trucks and available loads. Traffix was one of the first freight brokerage firms in Canada. The need for Traffix services was an immediate success with both the shipping and for-hire trucking industries. Traffix was so successful at offering freight brokerage services that by the late 1980's Traffix had to begin acquiring its own trucking terminal and corporate fleet in order to keep up with client's demands for such services as just-in-time deliveries, and delivery appointments.

Today Traffix fleet consists of 40 air ride tractors and over 90 air ride logistic equipped trailers.
