Tracking and Tracing

Logisight Tracking & Tracing provides simplified, end-to-end, real time monitoring of shipments. In the process, product orders and delivery status, as well as shipping documents, can be presented to all participants in the supply chain.

Cancom Tracking Solutions (Cancom) works closely with Logisight to provide state-of-the-art tracking solutions for customers equipped with OmniTRACS®. Cancom's OmniTRACS is an information management system, including two-way mobile communications, satellite tracking and fleet management software. Last-known-position updates for trucks are dynamically displayed through a map interface or can be given by location to the nearest metropolitan center. All participants in the transaction have instant and accurate visibility of shipment status and details.

Carriers not equipped with current satellite technology can also manage and update customer loads with the Tracking & Tracing capability. The dynamic tracking interface enables dispatchers to update load status information through simple drop-down menus which contain preset status settings. Carriers can utilize this tool to keep their customers informed on the status and progress of any shipment.
