Tracer and Honeywell sign surplus deal

Tracer Corp. and Honeywell International Aviation Aftermarket Services are forming a new partnership, where Tracer will be the sales channel for about $20 million of Honeywell commercial aircraft surplus parts. According to the parts consignment agreement, Honeywell will ship surplus parts to tracer's Milwaukee headquarters and logistics center.

Tracer will provide sales, warehousing, and logistical support and manage the sale of Honeywell inventory on a consignment basis. Material includes new and fully documented surplus parts, including commercial aircraft auxiliary power units, wheels, brakes, control surfaces, avionics and other aircraft components.

Jim Blaskovich, Honeywell director of Aviation Aftermarket Services, says, "Tracer is an outstanding partner choice for us. Tracer's aggressive use of new technologies in the sale, marketing and logistical support of our surplus program is key to our partnership. Outsourcing our surplus sales makes good sense for us."

Tracer Corp is a full-server provider of commercial aviation parts and services. Honeywell's Aviation Aftermarket Services deliver maintenance, repair and overhaul support for Honeywell aviation products.
