Article: Supply Chain Visibility Is Not A Nice-To-Have -- It's A Need-To-Have

Wal-Mart has been leading the charge for improving supply chain efficiencies for some time now and recently has upped the ante in its push for RFID tagging. In July, Wal-Mart announced its RFID expansion requirement from tagging at the pallet level and case level down to the individual product level for certain categories of products. Now, as the requirements become more stringent, many are asking how this will affect retailer-supplier relationships.
