Kenco Logistic Services LLC, one of the most respected names in the third-party logistics industry, has been selected as its third party logistics (3PL) partner by Stokke, a leading children's products brand for high chairs, cribs and strollers.

According to Shanon Weber, Kenco Logistic Services director of operations, "Stokke had been operating a warehouse in Kennesaw, GA to serve the entire Canadian and U.S. market for product distribution and parts/service. The company is anticipating rapid growth in the coming years."

Geir Stokke, president, added, "Our plans for growth meant that our existing warehouse operations would not be able to fully accommodate the anticipated expansion. Therefore, we looked into outsourcing to a 3PL provider. After careful deliberation, it was determined that Kenco will be our best partner."

Kenco will handle Stokke's logistics needs, including receiving of goods, unloading/put away, storage, order processing and picking, preparing orders for shipping/pickup by carrier and parts fulfillment. The Stokke operation is located in a multi-client Kenco facility in Chattanooga, TN.
