Stanley Awarded Multi-Year Contracts With Naval Sea Logistics Center And U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command
Stanley, Inc.,a leading provider of systems integration and professional services to the U.S. federal government, recently announced that it has been awarded multi-year contracts valued at a total of $11M by the Naval Sea Logistics Center (NSLC) and U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC).
Under the NSLC award, a four-year, time and materials contract valued at $9M, Stanley will provide program management, acquisition management, systems engineering and logistics management services in support of special logistics projects. MCSC awarded Stanley a three-year, $2M firm-fixed price contract, through the Commercial Enterprise Omnibus Support Services contract vehicle, to support the development of an automated, web-based Prepositioning Program Decision Support and Analysis Tool (PDSAT) for the Marine Corps' Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) and Preposition Program-Norway.
"Stanley is excited to establish a new relationship with the Naval Sea Logistics Center," said Laurie Carter, vice president for Stanley. "We stand ready to provide comprehensive engineering, technical and program management services for the Logistics Special Projects Office."
The Naval Sea Logistics Center serves as the Naval Sea Technical Agent for developing, maintaining and assessing lifecycle logistics support policies, procedures and data systems. Stanley will support logistics readiness reviews and assessments, configuration management, manpower personnel and training analyses, supply support, maintenance planning and design interface, facility requirements analysis, documentation support, and support and test equipment logistics services. The work will take place primarily in Washington, D.C.
The MPF mission is to support the rapid deployment of Marine forces by providing mobile, long-term storage of equipment and supplies near areas of potential danger. PDSAT will assist in providing the analysis for current and future program decisions associated with optimizing the type and quantity of equipment and supplies pre-positioned afloat and at locations around the globe. PDSAT will interface with the USMC Total Force Structure Management System, support user review and input, conduct force composition analysis, and interface with Blount Island Command's Marine Corps Prepositioning Information Center for equipment configuration data to assess unit distribution and ship association. Stanley will support this task from Dumfries, Va., as well as at the Headquarters Marine Corps Navy Annex in Washington, D.C.
"Stanley has supported the Marine Corps Maritime Prepositioning Force for more than 16 years," said Phil Nolan, Stanley's chairman, president and CEO. "We are privileged to continue our role in support of their mission and assist in improving their prepositioning program data."
