St. George Moving & Storage Partners With SCI Logistics

Operations to be moved to new 23,000 sq. ft facility on South East side of Edmonton to serve Edmonton and Northern Alberta

Edmonton - St. George Moving & Storage (Edmonton) Ltd., a long time division of Williams Moving & Storage, is pleased to announce a new partnership with SCI Logistics, the largest Canadian-owned third party logistics provider, to serve commercial accounts in the Edmonton and Northern Alberta regions. As of January 1, SCI Logistics will operate as an agent for Williams Moving & Storage with Williams to continue managing client relationships directly.

As a result of this new collaboration, SCI will assume the assets of St. George Moving & Storage and move the operations to a new 23,000 sq. ft facility located on the South East side of Edmonton. The new facility will enable the company to serve the Edmonton and Northern Alberta areas.

"With the majority of St. George's commercial business performed by SCI, this partnership is a natural fit for both companies, focusing on each company's strengths for the benefit of commercial customers in the area," says G. J. (Jim) Williams, President & CEO of Williams Moving & Storage.

"The partnership enables new opportunities and both organizations will continue to work together and assess opportunities to partner in other regions," adds Sean Watson, Vice President, Transportation at SCI Logistics.
