SEKO Opens New Office In Saudi Arabia

SEKO, a global provider of supply chain solutions, recently announced the establishment of its new SEKO Saudi Arabia office. As the Middle East and Gulf countries are becoming increasingly important within the international logistics industry, its status as a leading international transportation hub is steadily growing. Future mega infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia such as: the King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh, Prince Abdul Aziz Economic City in Hail and the Knowledge City industrial development in the city of Medina are creating market potential and logistics business opportunities that are extremely promising.

SEKO Saudi Arabia offers a wide range of multi-modal transport and logistics services, including customs brokerage, import and export trade services utilizing sea freight, air freight, warehousing, consolidation and inland and overland trucking throughout all of Saudi Arabia, Middle East and Gulf countries. The new SEKO Saudi Arabia office consists of 18 employees and operates a transportation division that consists of about 25 trailers to handle inbound and outbound shipments. The office also provides warehouse management services and has plans to expand its facility by mid-2008. In addition to its existing offices in Jeddah and Dammam, the station has plans to open an office in Riyadh in the second quarter of 2008. Heading up the office are Saeed Hussaini, General Manager, and Sha Burhan, Executive Manager.
