Pallet Rack System

This company's pallet rack system is designed to provide highly efficient storage of palletized items. The basic components of the system are upright frames and beams. Each is manufactured to exacting tolerances to provide dependable service at their rated loads.

The roll-formed one-piece beams are offered in different vertical profiles and steel gauges, and in beam step heights of 0.75-in. and 1.625-in. In addition, both the overlapping seam and the beam end connector are securely MIG welded for strength. The face of the beam has an M-design recessed configuration for added strength, and are finished in 710 Safety Yellow baked enamel for high visibility.

Frames are available in five load capacities, ranging from 18,000- to 45,000-lb. A letter code stamped into the face of the post indicates the capacity. Depths of 30-, 36-, 42-, 48-, 54- and 60-in. are standard. Standard heights range from 48- to 288-in. in 6-in. increments, but greater heights can be achieved when splices are used. The frames are furnished completely fabricated, and welded into rigid units. Standard finish for upright frames is 028 Gray baked enamel. The manufacturer recommends that all upright frames be securely anchored to the floor for safety.
