Ozburn-Hessey Logistics Division Receives Outstanding Terminal Service Recognition

Lanter Distributing, a division of Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OH Logistics), was recently awarded the 2007 Outstanding Terminal Service Team of the Year from Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation. The annual award recognizes a pool carrier that provides Phillips-Van Heusen with outstanding, first-rate service.

Lanter Distributing provides pool distribution services for Phillips-Van Heusen from Madison, IL and Nashville, TN.

"We are delighted to accept this award from Phillips-Van Heusen," commented Bill Behrmann, Regional Vice President at Lanter's Madison, Illinois location. "Lanter Distributing and OH Logistics are committed to providing the highest quality carrier services for our clients, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Phillips-Van Heusen."

Terminal service performance is calculated using several key factors including on-time service, timely submittal of paperwork, accurate overage, shortage and damage (OS&D) reporting, terminal efficiency and adherence to Phillips-Van Heusen policies. Lanter Distributing was commended for their proactive and flexible approach, excellent response time, and 99.85 percent on-time service to retail stores. Additionally, the audits performed on Lanter's OS&D reports documented 93.5 percent accuracy in reporting.

"Pool distribution is one of our core transportation offerings and we are honored to be recognized by Phillips-Van Heusen for our performance," stated Denis Reilly, President of Transportation for OH Logistics.
