Optional Clamp for Orderpickers

A new optional pallet clamp is now available on this company's EASi and Gofer model orderpickers. The pallet clamp is designed to accommodate pallet stringers ranging from1.25- to 5-in. in width.

The pallet clamp automatically engages when a pallet is picked up and is disengaged when the operator steps on the release pedal. The manufacturer states that an operator can use this clamp on almost any pallet in a building, ensuring that it will be held securely in place. In addition, its versatility can ensure that a variety of pallets can be secured to the orderpicker forks, increasing operator productivity.

The manufacturer is offering customers who already own EASi or Gofer orderpickers without this option a kit to retrofit the new clamp. The manufacturer states that all new orderpickers will now be shipped with a bolt on pallet clamps, making it easier to upgrade to the new clamp if a customer wishes to do so in the future.
