RFID World 2005 is the premier RFID industry event of the year! Join the RFID industry (solutions providers; integrators; hardware, software, and middleware suppliers; investors; media; analysts; and more) at RFID World 2005 where all variations of RFID systems, including EPC, are discussed, disseminated, and on display.

From The Chief Editor
At its RFID Summit next week, the DoD will review its internal implementation roadmap along with timelines and requirements for suppliers. Like the major retailers, the DoD will be discussing its planned adoption of passive RFID technology based on emerging EPC Network standards and compatible tags. I will be attending to learn more about the DoD's ongoing use of active RFID technologies that support longer read ranges and higher data capacities.
