New Release of Warehouse Management System

Release 2.0 of VISUAL DCMS, an advanced radio frequency-enabled Warehouse Management System (WMS), is a part of the manufacturer's VISUAL Distribution product line, which offers companies tools to optimize their distribution centers and improve cycle times, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction.

The new version is designed to enhance product functionality with extensive lot, serial number, and expiration date control. According to the manufacturer, these features can extend the usability of the WMS across various industries, including food processing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, aerospace, and automotive.

The new release also offers support for Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers with features that allow them to:

• Manage multi-customer inventory within a warehouse.
• Accumulate activity and storage by customer within a warehouse to support 3PL billing.
• Use rules-based formulas in the new Rate Maintenance application to automate customer billing and storage in the distribution Center.

Additionally, the new release provides the platform for VISUAL TMS, the manufacturer's integrated transportation and parcel management system, which is designed to enable companies to use a single system for their carrier rate shopping and manifesting needs.
