MHF Logistical Solutions Aggressively Pursuing Special Waste Bulk Transloading Capabilities

MHF Logistical Solutions, Inc. (MHF-LS), a leading provider of packaging, transportation and logistics, announced recently that the company is aggressively going after the non-hazardous and clean fill markets, which have traditionally moved over the road to landfills and quarries within a 300-mile radius of the respective markets. The company intends to secure these movements via the use of its bulk solid transloading capabilities at the company's Worcester, Massachusetts and North Bergen, New Jersey locations.

These facilities are designed for the transloading of various bulk solid waste and clean material types from truck-to-rail, offering competitive alternatives to direct over-the-road trucking. This approach dramatically reduces economical and environmental impacts, by reducing the number of trucks on public highways supporting remediation projects. The transload approach also significantly reduces the amount of fuel required for these transportation projects.

MHF-LS transload facilities, primarily known for their hazardous waste transload support, enable generators, shippers, remedial contractors, and transporters to recognize reduced costs, faster project completion times, improved equipment efficiencies, and the ability to ship a wide range of volumes.

"Our experience in transloading material from truck-to-rail, relationships with disposal facilities, plus our commitment to the non-hazardous and clean fill markets will allow our customers to recognize various project efficiencies -- primarily the ability to reduce the amount of trucks needed to support a project while increasing the volume per truck load leaving specific sites," states Scott Dempsey, Director of Sales and Marketing.
