Logwin With New Logistics Center In Shanghai

Increased capacity: Logwin, the global logistics service provider, has opened a new warehousing facility in Shanghai. The modern logistics center in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone went into operation at the end of September this year.

"We have been present in Waigaoqiao for over ten years", says Ronnie Rong, Logwin's location manager in Shanghai. "The move to a larger building was necessary since our customers are increasingly requiring warehousing solutions and individual additional services. The general conditions for this are now perfect – compared to the previous 1,500 m² we now have double the space available."

Well connected
The new logistics center has excellent transportation links, being situated near the Port of Waigaoqiao and the national motorway system. It offers around 3,000 m² of warehousing and logistics space and has its own bonded store and a temperature-controlled zone. Besides freight management, warehousing and distribution, the range of services offered includes customs clearance and comprehensive value added services. Ronnie Rong: "For example, we perform quality checks, repackage products or label them." Logwin's customers in Waigaoqiao come from industries such as mechanical engineering, automotive and electronics.

A high level of China expertise
Logwin operates two other logistics centers in the Shanghai region: The location in Baoshan is specially geared to the needs of the fashion and high-tech industries while Logwin uses the Container Freight Station in Lingang, near the deep sea port of Yangshan, primarily for consolidation services. Logwin has a presence throughout China with more than 20 of its own locations. As a wholly owned foreign enterprise (WOFE) the company has nationwide A-licenses for trade and logistics.
