Logistics Services: Newly Redesigned Logistics Services Locator (LSL) Launched

IWLA has redesigned its popular 3PL, search tool, the Logistics Services Locator (LSL), and introduced the tool to its membership, customers and the public recently. The state-of-the-art mechanism allows shippers to search IWLA member warehouse logistics providers by zip/postal code, company and keyword(s). Upon finding an IWLA member facility using the search mechanism, shippers have the ability to send a request for information (RFI) to the main contact at each member location. Listings include location, services, a company profile and a link to the company's Web site.

The tool has remarkable ease-of-use and is a very efficient method of searching for 3PL services throughout North America. The tool has a satellite image component, allowing users to view overhead views of facilities, street names and other pertinent facility information. "The LSL is a remarkable search tool that is a plus for our members and their customers. The tool is an attractive, efficient mechanism that I see only getting better the more that it is used," said Jere Van Puffelen, LSL Subcommittee Chair and President of Prism Team Services, Danville, CA.

About IWLA
IWLA members will have the ability to keep their information updated on the site using their very own administrative portal. IWLA's Marketing Committee has created a strategic marketing plan which will allow the LSL to be introduced to the shipping community via trade magazine articles, advertisements, demos at industry events and webinars.
