This company's new S-262 low cost label printer is designed for carton- and package-labeling operations at apparel and retail distribution centers, warehouses, and manufacturing sites.
The system printer labels at speeds of 6 ips, and features a 32-bit microprocessor, 8 MB of memory, and a 4-in. plus print head. It employs thermal transfer print technology to produce 1D and 2D bar codes, complex graphics and human-readable copy at print resolutions 203 dpi.
The printer processes die-cut or continuous labels, either roll-fed or fan-fold, in widths from 1- to 4.65-in. Its all-purpose sensor can detect notches or gaps in label media, or operate reflective mode with black registration marks.
