The Container Placard System is designed to allow the labeling and re-labeling of reusable containers and racks without label and adhesive buildup.

The system features a reusable permanent placard that is affixed to a container or rack to act as a label holder. A pressure-sensitive label is placed on the placard to identify the container of rack contents. When contents change, the label can be removed easily and a new label placed on the placard.

The system is engineered to offer easy bar code scanning, and can be used with nesting containers. According to the manufacturer, the system can help prevent mislabeled containers, keep containers and racks and neat and clean, and eliminate lost/damaged cardholders.

The placards can be used on a range of surfaces including:

  • High and low density plastics
  • Aluminum
  • Painted metals
  • Flexible packaging
  • Baskets and trays
  • Wood and plastic pallets
  • Tanks and drums
  • Corrugated fiber containers
