Horizon Logistics Launches New Website www.horizon-logistics.com

Horizon Logistics, LLC, the logistics and transportation management subsidiary of Horizon Lines, Inc. , has established a new corporate website, www.horizon-logistics.com. The site, which focuses exclusively on Horizon's logistics division, will enhance the flow of information between the company and website visitors.

Horizon Logistics was launched in 2007 to help customers solve their toughest supply chain challenges in North America and abroad. The company has tailored solutions to meet the requirements of customers in various industries, leveraging deep experience in transportation management, industry- leading technology solutions and special project logistics expertise. To highlight Horizon Logistics' depth of industry experience, the site includes logistics solution information for apparel, energy, healthcare, high tech, mining, pharmaceuticals and food services.

To help customers learn more about the company's broad service capabilities, Horizon Logistics designed its website to give visitors easy access to information relevant to their specific needs and requirements. Service areas include warehouse and distribution; port drayage; truck and rail services; expedited delivery; technology solutions; Mexico services; and special projects. In addition, the site offers customers a direct link to request rate quotes through freightcaptain.com, another product of Horizon Logistics.

The Horizon Logistics website was designed and developed jointly by website firm Imaginuity in Dallas; BSY Associates Inc., Horizon's brand agency; and Horizon Logistics Technology, the IT division of Horizon Logistics.
