High-speed Baggage Transportation System

CrisBag is a new high-speed transportation system designed to quickly move baggage over large distances in a short amount of time.

The system has a transport velocity of more than 7 m/sec, and can throughput more than 4,000 pieces of luggage an hour. The system's baggage trays, which are transported on narrow belt conveyors to form a circuit, come in different sizes to handle a range baggage needs. The full system is made up of two circuits, each going in an opposite direction to expedite the transfer of luggage.

The system is made up of modular sections, each containing individual drives. To save energy, sections not in use are automatically turned off. Each section also has its own boxed and mounted controller containing individual power components. The controllers are connected by a local area network, which is supervised by a system controller.
