It is designed to collect data and provide a single link to wireless wide area networks including RAM, ARDIS, CDPD, GSM, Circuit Switched, Cellular, and Satellite.
Users can run 3270, 5250, and ANSI emulations at 900 MHz and migrate to Client Server at 2.4 GHz by swapping PCMCIA radio cards. Users can add radio cards to run complex applications, and swap endcap modules for audio ID or I/O options.
The computer also features backlit keys for high visibility and a snap-on handle that attaches quickly, adding a pistol grip trigger. In addition, it includes an IrDA port for infrared data transfer to fixed workstations.
