Government Services Program

Associated's Government Services Program is designed to meet the requirements of government shippers by air and surface. Our government service managers have years of experience in government transportation and logistics and understand your terminology, requirements and problems. They will work with you and for you to meet your deadlines.

All of our services are controlled by our state of the art technology. We conform to all EDI standards and you can track all shipments on our web site.

Air Freight (SCAC=ASAF). This program provides a full range of services for the efficient and reliable movement of government domestic and international shipments by air, whether Same Day, Overnight, Second Day, or Deferred. Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Tenders and rates are approved by the Air Mobility Command, Department of State and General Services Administration. Size and weight are only limited by the aircraft providing service to your destination.

Surface Freight (SCAC=ASGY). This program is specifically designed to move Department of Defense personal property shipments within CONUS. Rates are competitive; service is door-to-door, quick and reliable. Use this service to move HHG and UAB from DPM contractor to DPM contractor or to aerial/water ports. There are no weight or size restrictions. Tenders are approved by the Military Traffic Management Command.
