Dale Carpenter Joins Agistix As Vice President, Logistics
Agistix, Inc., the leading provider of Logistics Management Automation (LMA) software, recently announced the appointment of Dale Carpenter as vice president of logistics. He is responsible for the Agistix Service Center which handles all managed services, including programs such as Inbound Shipment Management Service, and Auction Shipment Management Service, as well as Professional Services.

About Dale Carpenter
Mr. Carpenter brings to Agistix 22 years of experience in logistics operations and transportation solutions development. Most recently, he was the Director of Transportation for Océ North America where he was responsible for a carrier network providing transportation support for eight configuration centers, a central refurbishment center, a national parts distribution warehouse, 43 emergency order satellite storage facilities across the U.S., and import/export coordination for International shipments distributed throughout the U.S. Prior to Océ North America, he worked in two P&L divisions of R.R. Donnelley Logistics. As Director of Operations & Solutions Development, Expedited Services he was responsible for a nation wide network of 3PL's that provided expedited services for RRD corporate as well as external clients in the banking, pharmaceutical and film industries. As Director of Operations, Print Consolidation Facilities, he was responsible for a nation wide network of consolidation facilities. Prior to R.R. Donnelly, Dale was a Regional Manager for Airborne Express with ten years in Field Services managing fleet operations, resources and distribution. He was known for his leadership, commitment to process improvement and participated as a key contributor to many of the initiatives rolled out during his tenure.
Before joining the commercial world, Dale was an Operations Officer with the U.S. Army Corp Engineers. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and an MA in Computer Resource Management from Webster University.
