This company's plastic collapsible crates maintain the same footprint folded or loaded, and can help conserve storage space. According to the manufacturer, they are easy to assemble and disassemble and when empty and collapsed, are highly nestable.

The crates feature a Snap-Tite locking mechanism, which securely locks walls into place providing more stable unit and pallet loads, thereby eliminating burst containers, and reducing product damage. The crates are also equipped with Pinch & Pull quick release latches, which promote efficient breakdown of containers, as well as ergonomically designed beveled handholds, which provide comfort and can reduce injury when handling containers. In addition, the crates' rigid plastic walls support a unit's load 100°, and their ventilated side walls and bottom design increase cooling efficiencies, provide temperature stability, and extend shelf life. The also have a interlocking, cross stacking design that reduces collapsed loads in transit and storage.

Features of the collapsible crates also include:

  • Multi-site labeling tabs
  • Anti-bulge tabs
  • Size numbered brands, bar coding, and RFID tags
  • Multi-color availability

This series of crates is available in four different heights ranging from 5.24- to 13.39-in., and weights ranging from 3.65 lb to 6.0 lb. The manufacturer states that they can be used for any product — from field to processor to grocery store.
