Champion brand CHP 100 Silicon Controlled Rectifier Battery Chargers with Inter-ACT Control offer you safe
Champion brand CHP 100 Silicon Controlled Rectifier Battery Chargers with Inter-ACT Control offer you safe, simple, and reliable charging every time. They utilize an "I-E-I" (constant current – constant voltage – constant current) charger profile. Charging begins with a low 15.5 ammps/100 Ah start rate and a tightly controlled voltage level during the critical gassing phase of recharge.

Supplying precise electronic control over high and low rate charging currents, each charge cycle length is determined by battery voltage levels. Your battery will receive the optimum charge since the charger output is matched to the exact ampere-hour capacity of the battery. Once the battery's voltage stabilizes, charge is terminated by dv/dt to protect against over charging.

The I-E-I profile is the fastest and most reliable recharge for your battery. By determining exactly what is needed, the CHP 100 provides electronic control over the voltage and current output.

The constant voltage phase of recharge features tightly controlled voltage during the critical gassing stage. For Champion Sealed batteries, this precise charge control is absolutely necessary to protect against battery damage. For conventional Flooded batteries, this means less heat build-up and significantly less battery watering is required.

The CHP 100 charger is conservatively rated to recharge any fully discharged Sealed or Flooded battery, in its ampere-hour rating, within eight hours. For this charger, GNB Industrial Power offers a 10-year limited warranty to the Purchaser, including a 5-year full warranty on parts and labor on all components (except fuses).
