CEVA Logistics Looks After Macron's Logistics And Expands Into Fashion

CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has signed an agreement to manage the warehousing for one of the logistics sites of Macron, an Italian fashion company that sells clothing and accessories for sports.

CEVA will manage the logistics for storing a number of Macron's products and preparing them for delivery. The activities will be conducted at a new CEVA site located in Monselice, in Padua province, occupying a space of approximately 3,500 square meters, which has been appropriately fitted out, and will handle overall volumes of around 1 million pieces annually.

Macron was founded in 1971 and since then has operated in the technical sports clothing sector, and today Macron clothes are chosen by amateur and professional athletes in sports clubs worldwide. The company specializes

in supplying teams playing strips and a vast range of items and equipment (footballs, bags, jackets, robes, gloves, socks, shin guards, caps etc.).

The partnership with CEVA lets Macron benefit from real logistics support, at a time of major expansion and ongoing development of new markets: CEVA is keen to partner with Macron on its expansion path.

The Macron partnership is another recognition of CEVA's expertise of the complex fashion market, and consolidates its position in line with a precise strategy of leadership acquisition. "For us, the signing of this new contract is a source of great satisfaction, because not only does it testify to CEVA's capacity to work with the customer by effectively personalizing the solutions offered, but it also rewards the investments and commitment of CEVA in this strategic sector", commented Carlo Rosa, CEVA Logistics General Manager Consumer Division.
