BA World Cargo Selects Descartes As Preferred Global Solutions Provider

British Airways World Cargo has selected Descartes's Global Logistics Network as its preferred global solution for air cargo messaging for customs filing, e-freight and other electronic data interchange.

Descartes's federated network, the Global Logistics Network (GLN), standardizes logistics transactions for airlines, like British Airways (BA) World Cargo, with messaging services that simplify the management of imports, exports and domestic shipments. The GLN's messaging services help airlines and their customers.

BA World Cargo and its ground handling associates are standardizing procedures to gather and use electronic shipment information to streamline customs filing. Descartes is hosting education sessions to show customers how to quickly and efficiently connect to the GLN.
