And the winner is … Roadway Express

Roadway Express Inc. has landed the Eagle Award from the Colorado Transportation Community (CTC).

Roadway Senior Vice President for Corporate Sales Michael Murphy accepted the award at the CTC's annual Operation Stimulus Transportation Conference in early February.

The award recognizes companies that demonstrate excellence in transportation and logistics education, advocacy for the industry and leadership, according to Terry Priest, corporate logistics manager for Coors, Golden, CO, and a member of the Operation Stimulus Eagle Award Committee.

The CTC is made of various groups, including chapters of the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC), and the University of Denver Intermodal Transportation Institute.

CTC members contribute time, materials, financial assistance and instructors for college and high-school courses in transportation and logistics.
