Air Operated Conveyor for Small Volumes

The new Light Duty Line Vac is designed to provide an effective way to convey small volumes of material over short distances. The device converts an ordinary hose or tube into a conveyor for scrap, trim and bulk materials.

The device was developed for use in applications where lower throughputs at short distances are desired. It features a simplified design that utilizes a two-part threaded construction to provide effective conveying, and air consumption is reduced to a volume appropriate for moving small volumes of material. Users control conveying rates by regulating the tool's compressed air supply pressure.

The device features inlet and outlet diameters common to hose and tube sizes. Eight sizes for diameters from 0.75- to 6-in. (8 to 15cm) are available. The tool is constructed of aluminum and features no moving parts or electricity for maintenance-free operation. The manufacturer also offers corrosion-resistant stainless steel models that are suitable for high temperature and food service applications.
