Atlas Mezzanines is a division of Atlas Iron Works, which was founded and incorporated in 1922 in St. Louis, MO. The company is still located at its original location. Our owner and president, Mr. Richard Klein, is the third generation of Klein's to operate Atlas Iron Works.

Our primary objective is to design, sell and manufacture custom structural steel mezzanines and related structures. The company's 78+ years of experience in structural fabrication enables us to fulfill most load, span or physical shape requirements. Some of our past projects have featured 40' clear spans, 500 psf design loads, multiple stories and different shapes like semi-circles or triangles. We offer a complete line of accessories including staircases, guardrails, gates and various deck choices.

Our custom quotation software allows us to turn your request for quotation around in 24 – 48 hours and we can also furnish proprietary conceptual presentation drawings for large or unusual projects at your request. Approval drawings are typically produced within ten days of receipt of purchase order and are delivered via overnight mail or e-mail via the Internet. Typical delivery for beam to beam design mezzanines is four to five weeks from receipt of approved drawings and six weeks for bar joist designs (delivery time on bar joists may vary due to bar joist availability). In many cases Atlas delivers early, plus our Midwest location offers a freight advantage.

Because we fabricate our products in-house, we are able to continuously monitor product quality and production schedules. Atlas can provide installation assistance. Our factory trained installation crew can provide field measurement services and installation of the mezzanine. Upon request, we will include estimated installation time and/or a firm installation price with mezzanine proposals.
