e-Fulfillment Advantage version 2.0 includes new modules called Advantage Source and Advantage Dashboard that have to the software's existing Warehouse Advantage, Advantage Link, and Web-based Customer Service Advantage components. The manufacturer states that the software is designed to provide a complete applications suite that addresses the supply chain requirements of e-businesses while improving customer service and decreasing fulfillment costs.

The new version includes support for multi-warehouse environments as well as enhanced productivity and throughput tools. The Advantage Source module adds order parsing capabilities, allowing e-businesses with multiple distribution centers or online marketplaces to optimally allocate orders among different centers or suppliers. It makes this determination automatically based on inventory availability, inventory aging, least-cost shipping methods or geographic proximity. Advantage Dashboard provides managers with Web-based visibility into fulfillment operations, presenting information on shipment volumes and worker productivity.

The original system was developed to streamline the order fulfillment process for e-businesses by integrating with leading e-commerce storefront applications and reducing the potential for human error due to manual re-entry of orders. The software provides web-based visibility of inventory availability and order status, as well as personalized e-mail confirmation of order receipt and/or shipment. In addition, it automates WMS functions including picking, packing, and shipping processes within the distribution center.
