When materials handling system require transportation for heavier loads and/or longer distances, the roller-bed belt conveyor supplies an energy-saving alternative. Less horsepower is used, compared to a slider-bed conveyor, to move a similar load because the belt travels on low-friction ball bearing rollers. The PVC belt provides a flat, sturdy, stable support for tote pans, cases, crates, drums, etc. This conveyor is also suited for moving products up an incline, delivering reliable transportation between different conveying elevations.
