The new RR 5080S model reach truck is designed to offer operators performance and comfort. The truck's Work Relief Center has a fold-down seat that allows operators to sit, lean, or stand, depending on the task. The manufacturer states that flexibility for the operator can increase productivity, especially when operators stay on a truck for a full shift. The truck's performance specifications include travel speeds over 8 mph and lift speeds over 135-ft/min.

The RR 5000 series of reach trucks features a multi-task control handle that is designed to be more comfortable and intuitive. The handle allows simultaneous blending of hydraulic functions to speed pallet handling; and the entire backrest, arm/elbow support, and multi-task control adjust up or down to fit a range of operator types. The steering tiller has a standard tilt feature to improve comfort as well.

The series also incorporates the manufacturer's Integrated Control System with Access 1-2-3, which provides total system control through three integrated modules. Two display panel configurations are available: the enhanced display has a 16-character alphanumeric read out; and the on-time display communicates with the operator and the service technician.

In addition, the truck's high visibility mast, low profile power unit, and overhead guard help maximize operator visibility of the truck and the work area surrounding the truck.
