This company's Series PE 3560 model rider pallet truck incorporates a new "extended lift" features that elevates forks and the pallet up to 24-in. This elevated work force can help reduce deep bending associated with low level or floor level order picking operations, thereby reducing fatigue and increasing productivity.
The picking cycle begins with empty pallets that are elevated 24-in. As the pallet is layered with cases, the operator can lower the pallet, keeping the work force at a comfortable height. The truck is complimented when the facility uses raised bottom rack beams.
Because of the "fork over" design of the forks, a pallet without bottom boards is required. Wooden skids are acceptable in addition to plastic pallets.
The truck is available in 96-in. long fork. Truck capacity is 600 lb in the lowered condition and 2500 lb from 9.25- to 24-in. In addition, truck weight increases from 930 lb and overall truck length increases 7-in.
