Like all other DuraHitcH products, the roll-pan hitches are protected with a long-lasting, rust free finish. awp industries is the only manufacturer of towing products offering the advanced corrosion resistance of the Autophoretic® autodeposition coating on all its tow hitches and cargo haulers.
One of the newest technological developments for finishing processes, the Autophoretic coating meets or exceeds domestic Automotive Corrosion Requirements for underhood, underbody, and interior parts. This finish provides twice the rust protection and nearly three times the hardness when compared to other typical tow-product coatings such as powder coating, baked enamel, and E-coat.
DuraHitcH offers roll-pan hitches for current and old style Chevrolet/GMC full-size pickups, current Ford F-series, and current Dodge Ram. Additional models, such as for the current Ford Ranger and the Chevy S-10, will be added during 2001.
All DuraHitcH trailer hitches are manufactured and tested as single combined models meeting both Class III for weight-carrying (5,000 lbs.) and Class IV for weight-distributing (10,000 lbs.) requirements.
