Improved Stock Program From awp Now Available

awp industries, inc. has expanded its stock program to provide additional sizes for increased customer satisfaction. awp's manufacturing facility in Frankfort, KY, has increased the number of wire mesh rack decking sizes available in stock and also offers three standard sizes of reusable, folding wire mesh containers. Wire mesh decking and two standard container sizes are also available at awp's new West Coast warehouse in Los Angeles.

As part of awp's stock program expansion, decking and containers will be shipped from awp to customers within 48 hours, upon receipt of order. Oven-baked gray enamel finish is available on all decking.

The Frankfort facility stock program now offers 15 sizes of Type A (Step Beam) decking with depths of 36", 42", and 48" with widths of either 46", 52", or 58". Stock sizes available with depths of 36" yield 3,000-lbs. maximum capacity; depths of 42" yield 2,000-lbs. and 3,000-lbs. capacities; and depths of 48" yield 1,500-lbs. and 3,000-lbs. capacities.

awp's Los Angeles facility stocks Type A (Step Beam) decking with 3,000-lbs. maximum capacity in the following four sizes (depth x width): 36" x 46", 42" x 46", 42" x 52", and 44" x 46". The Type A model is also available with 2,000-lbs. maximum capacity in deck sizes of 42" x 46" and 48" x 46".

The versatility of awp decking allows for simple integration with existing rack systems. awp decking provides greater structural strength than many other materials, and it is virtually maintenance free and indestructible. In addition, awp wire mesh decking meets all fire and safety regulations and works effectively with overhead sprinkler systems.

awp's Frankfort facility also stocks folding wire mesh containers in the following three sizes (depth x width): 32" x 40" with a 28" inside height and 40" x 48" with inside heights of 30" and 36". Its Los Angeles facility stocks containers in sizes of 40" x 48" with inside heights of 30" and 36".

All awp folding wire mesh containers feature a maximum capacity of 4,000 lbs. and are stackable four-high when loaded, making them ideal for space-saving storage and return shipments. All containers come standard with a half-drop gate on the long side and built-in safety locks to prevent accidental opening of the gates during loading or while in transit.
