The new Voyager Commerce Server is designed to power both private and public B2B Trading Exchanges. The server delivers a leading e-Business technology platform that extends current Trading Exchange, Net Market, and company portal services to include Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR), Collaborative Transportation Management (CTM), and order fulfillment planning and execution.

The manufacturer states that the server is highly scaleable to support numerous one-to-many and many-to-many strategic buyer and seller relationships, delivering services within both private and public Trading Exchanges, Net Markets, and portals. Services provided to these Internet-based communities include: collaborative supply chain planning and logistics, strategic direct procurement, promotion planning, content aggregation, profile management and personalization, analysis, real-time alert notification, and exception management. According to the provider, all of these services are offered in a secure, one-to-many and scalable many-to-many architecture.

The server includes the company's Voyager XPS for CPFR-based collaborative planning between multiple trading partners, as well as the company's Voyager XES for collaborative transportation management between buyers, sellers, carriers, and transportation providers.
