DataCAP - Electronic Data Collection Software
Harness the Power of Electronic Data Collection Like AssetWIN, DataCAP's flexible design lets you control how assets are managed. DataCAP's multiple inventory methods include an Asset Inventory, Product Inventory and Audit Inventory. For example, in a single recording session you can perform an Asset Inventory where items are tagged with a bar code number and tracked at the individual asset level. You can also collect data under a Product Inventory, which manages quantity of product by like description, eliminating asset tagging. When the data is transferred to AssetWIN, its sophisticated data upload and verification interface processes the information seamlessly. Plus, data exceptions are instantly flagged, assisting you in maintaining the highest level of accuracy possible.
DataCAP supports the ability to create and maintain multiple inventory databases in a single recording session. You may elect to maintain IT assets separate from furniture assets, or use the system to maintain multiple client inventories. By simply assigning a database code in the reader, all records transferred to AssetWIN will instantly be posted to the correct inventory, without further intervention. Powerful, yet simple to use, DataCAP puts you in control.
DataCAP lets you define what information you track. In addition to standard data elements of description, location, and condition, DataCAP supports up to 16 user defined fields. Need to capture serial number for new IT assets your adding? Not a problem using DataCAP. Simply type in the field title and toggle it on to prompt during your recording session. And, those serial numbers can be scanned, eliminating all human recording errors! Are employee ID, department or division important data elements? On asset disposals, do you need to know a disposal status, such as sold, donated or scrapped? With DataCAP's flexible attribute feature, you're in control.
