Tile Selects Network Global Logistics For Order Fulfillment
BROOMFIELD, COLO.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Network Global Logistics has announced that it has begun providing order fulfillment services to Tile, Inc., a San Mateo, CA-based technology company that has just launched Tile, a matchbook-sized Bluetooth Low Energy device, a small chip that aims to ignite a community movement around keeping track of the small — or big — items in life. NGL will provide distribution of their new product throughout the world.
NGL was the right fit for Tile, according to Sándor Kiss, Head of Manufacturing Operations at Tile, Inc. "Thanks to the breakout success of our crowdfunding campaign, Tile needed a top-tier fulfillment partner with the experience, scalability and service to meet our growing demand. Network Global Logistics met those criteria and more."
Tile is the first device of its kind. Tile is small and sleek and goes everywhere you do. Simply attach, stick, or drop your Tile into any item you might lose: laptops, wallets, keys, bikes—you name it. Load the Tile app on an iPhone, and then you can find your Tiles anytime, anywhere. Tile calls it, “The world’s largest lost and found.” While competitors are restricted by Bluetooth’s typical connectivity range of 100 feet, Tile’s range can go far beyond that by using the Bluetooth connection of neighboring iPhones running the Tile app to cast a worldwide search net.
Network Global Logistics built a worldwide team of logistics partners to provide a comprehensive solution for Tile’s global distribution. NGL is currently processing the huge distribution of all the pre-orders that Tile has received in the last year, and will handle fulfillment of Tile’s new orders rolling in now.
NGL’s high volume order fulfillment center for Tile is located in Rialto, CA, and expects to fill over 1 million Tile orders by the end of this year. NGL has long-term relationships with some of the most successful e-commerce retailers, processing millions of orders each year from facilities throughout the United States and Canada.
“At NGL we make it our top priority to move rapidly and make the impossible, possible. We pride ourselves on reliability and on time delivery, down to the minute,” states NGL CEO, Scott Riddle. “These reliable services allow us to help drive down Tile’s operational costs. We are elated Tile has chosen NGL for their order fulfillment needs.”
Started in 2012 by established software and hardware engineers, Mike Farley and Nick Evans, Tile imagines and creates the world's next disruptive technology products. The inaugural product is Tile, a device that finds lost items. “With Tile, losing stuff is no longer a thing.” Tile is serious about making simple products anyone can use.
