Single-line Ink Jet Printer

The new single-line Model I.V./700 Ink Jet Printer for simple case coding is designed to offers a smooth transition to automation from contact coding.

The compact unit provides the user with numerous message control features such as QWERTY keypad with separate number keys, as well as a variety of LEDs, toolbars and autocodes. It also features an adjustable printhead, which allows the unit to easily adapt to various applications. The printhead position is independent of the controller, enabling positioning for top, side, bottom, and inclined conveyor printing.

The printer offers individual dot control capability and utilizes the manufacturer's patented integrated valve (I.V.) technology. Each unit is capable of printing 5-dot, 7-dot and 7-dot bold fonts. Multiple fonts can be combined in a single line of print and maximum print speed is 250 fpm. The unit also features an ink canister that can be changed without stopping production. The large volume, 13.5-fl-oz canisters contain an environmentally friendly, non-MEK black ink that is SARA-compliant.

The entire printer package includes printhead controller with built-in QWERTY keypad, power module, mounting brackets and a user's manual.
