Capabilities
Mobile Resource Management is a function-rich application for the tracking and management of mobile resources, e.g. assets. Leveraging RedPrairie's industry leading services oriented architecture (SOA) for ease of configuration and extensibility, this software provides a robust set of core functions, complemented by RedPrairie's supply chain execution and store operations tools. The system supports native integration with RedPrairie's RFID Reader Manager for RFID data capture and filtering as well as third party solutions. Mobile Resource Management provides host system integration using table-to-table, XML, or other communication standards using our Integrator product.

• Inventory Management - Manages the inventory of assets uniquely defining the attributes and history of each asset under system control. Supports the unique identification of assets via barcode, RFID and other AIDC technologies. In addition, Mobile Resource Management supports content tracking of product within assets.
• Location Management - Supports the definition and tracking of assets by unique location. Tracking can be done at the facility, discrete location level or GPS based, for in-transit assets.
• Repair and Scheduled Maintenance - Provides tools for identifying and managing both real-time repair of assets, as well as scheduled maintenance.
• Demand Administration - Supports real-time order management of assets in addition to min/max based auto-replenishment.
• Third Party Billing - Supports activity based billing for asset usage. Status / Routing Control - Provides asset status and routing control to manage the movement of assets

Optional Features

• RFID Module - The system fully supports the use of active or passive RFID GPS / cell based tracking.
• Mobile Data Computing - Supports batch or real-time wireless (802.11b) data capture and computing.
