Pulling Winches

D-L Pulling Winches are designed for boat trailer and other horizontal pulling applications that require the freewheeling feature of ratchet type winches. They are available in standard-, medium-, and heavy-duty models.

The winches feature laminated, high carbon steel gears that are arc-welded for long life and drive shaft gears that are copper brazed for durability. The winches also feature a rigid, welded reel construction for strength. All parts are zinc-plate with a Tuffplate³ finish. Available winch finishes include powder-coated copper bronze, or black or zinc plated Tuffplate³.

The winches freewheel when the ratchet is disengaged and feature load matched gear ratios for easy cranking, heavy-duty steel handles with molded grips, embossed and reinforced bases, and drive shafts with permanently lubricated bearings. A quick attach handle is standard equipment on two-speed models.

In addition, two-speed models have a drive shaft system that allows for both high and low speed cranking from one side. Five models are available with an installed 2-in. strap, and individual winch straps are available for all models.
