Mini-Screen Access Guard Systems are designed to provide a compact and reliable way to guard access points to areas of hazardous machine motion
Mini-Screen Access Guard Systems are designed to provide a compact and reliable way to guard access points to areas of hazardous machine motion. Typical applications include guarding access to robotic work cells, palletizers, and the entry/exit points of large hard-guarded machines. The width of the guarded opening may be up to 40 ft (12.1 m).

The Mini-Screen system consists of two mirrors, mounted on one bracket stand, that are used to reflect the beams from the emitter, which is mounted on the other bracket, back to the receiver. The height of the beams above the floor is prescribed by RIA 15.06 and EN999 standards so as to hinder the movement of a torso over, under, or between the beams of the light screen without detection.

A complete Access-Guard consists of two mirrors, two mirror brackets, two sensor mounting brackets, two vertical stands, and a latching-output 4.5-in. Mini-Screen system (emitter, receiver, controller, and interconnecting cables) that is purchased separately. The emitter and receiver are mounted on the same stand, which can simplify installation and servicing by locating all wiring and cable on one side of the light screen. The brackets, stands, and mirrors are sold as a kit. A post level is included to simplify alignment. Brackets and posts are constructed from 11-gauge plated steel.
