ODW Logistics And Transportation Services Growing In Downtown Hamilton: Firm Acquires Space And Advanced Technological Capabilities At Renaissance Center

ODW Logistics and Transportation Services and the City of Hamilton reached an agreement to lease space at One Renaissance Center to support ODW LTS' continued growth.

Hamilton, OH (PRWEB)  - ODW Logistics and Transportation Services (ODW LTS), a provider of transportation management services, reached an agreement with the City of Hamilton yesterday to lease 10,000 square feet of office space at One Renaissance Center as the company grows in staff and revenue.

Currently, the company resides at the BizTech center and employs almost 30 associates. As ODW LTS grows, the need for space and infrastructure only increases as ODW LTS plans to double the size of their operations and staff within the next three years.

The future positions are high-tech, professional logistics jobs, which require an educated and skilled workforce. With the business’ close proximity to area colleges and universities, coupled with the talent pool of Greater Cincinnati, continuing business in the area was important.

“Hamilton is a great place for us to do business,” said John Guggenbiller, president of ODW LTS. “The City afforded us a great opportunity to continue to make investments in the community by reaching an amicable agreement for the new space. This growth is significant for everyone.”

In addition to the new business space, ODW LTS is also further investing in its technological capabilities as well. Later this year, the firm plans to purchase and implement a new transportation management system (TMS) that will further streamline processes and drive efficiencies into the existing business. ODW LTS will also leverage the new technology to improve its capabilities in supply chain optimization, network analysis, international freight and consulting work.

“The acquisition of the new office space combined with our desire to make further technological investments in the company signifies our commitment to continue building a strong transportation management company,” said Guggenbiller. “The market is in demand for 3PLs that can help manufacturers and distributors make more educated supply chain decisions. Our investments in high-end office space, technology and most importantly, good people, will give us the opportunity to be that company.”

ODW LTS was named one of Inc. Magazine's Fast 500 in 2013 as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. The company is one of three segments of ODW Logistics, Inc., which is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Since 1971, ODW Logistics, Inc. provides integrated logistics solutions in multiple industries. ODW is a full service third party logistics (3PL) provider with the technology, infrastructure and personalized service to provide a seamless supply chain experience for customers.
