Document Management
By creating an electronic Bill of Lading (eBOL), all parties involved in the shipping process can collaborate in real time over the Internet. Each participant in the transaction has an up-to-date copy of the document throughout the entire process of the shipment's transfer, eliminating traditional form duplicates, faxing and document storage.
The unique sorting and filtering features allow quick reference to eBOL's by number, date of shipment, customer or transport provider. EBOL entry management is made simple through customized preferences and system defaults. The on-line document archive allows quick retrieval and viewing of documents.
The Document Manager facilitates the organization of all future shipping requirements in a deferred shipment section. Users can quickly retrieve deferred loads, assign carriers and submit for quote. Managers can monitor and plan internal resources, and individuals can manage future shipping requirements.
Additionally, external documents of any format may be attached to a load, distributed to involved parties, and kept up-to-date throughout the process. For example, customs documents, manifests, and packaging lists may be attached and tracked from initial posting thorough clearance and delivery
