Logisight Quoting allows for real-time, on-line query and response with just a few clicks of the mouse. Shipments can be tendered, quoted and confirmed all in a matter of moments, without the need for multiple phone calls or faxes. When multiple transportation service providers are available, Logisight's Quoting module is the solution for determining the best value alternative.

The procedure for using the quoting process begins with the creation of an electronic Bill of Lading (eBOL), the first step in securing a contract with your service provider. Upon completion of your eBOL, submission to your community is made through a simple checklist of preferred service providers. Logisight can also be set up to automatically and intelligently select service providers based on pre-configured rules. These rules take into account terms, rates, dates and lanes, saving you time and money, and ensuring that contract commitments are maintained. Submission of a quote is performed in real time and immediately updates the service providers' queues upon committing the request.

With Logisight all of the legwork is done for you intelligently, electronically, and simultaneously among multiple service providers. By employing templated Bill of Lading documents, all of the information the service provider needs - including origin, destination, date of pickup, date of delivery, and any special requirements or instructions - is available for timely response and action.
