Located at www.PeopleNetOnline.com, the Intouch interface is where customers use their user name and password to log on. From here customers can view maps that display vehicles' locations, send e-mail to drivers, and access the web-based services.
Vehicle Locating Device
Holds the wireless transceiver, which transmits data and voice communications over the wireless network, and the GPS receiver, which uses the Global Positioning System satellites to monitor vehicle location.
GPS and Wireless Antennas
Placed on the top of the vehicle, the antennas capture signals from GPS satellites and the wireless network.
Message display
Located in a truck's cab, the message display is where drivers view and send data messages.
Keyboard
The driver uses the keyboard to compose all free-form data messages, including e-mail messages, which he can send to his dispatcher, a shipper or receiver, or his family and friends.
Voice handset
The driver uses the voice handset to place calls and access voice mail.
